Sumitomo (SHI) Demag, one of Sumitomo Heavy Industries’ leading European companies, will showcase its latest all-electric injection moulding technologies at K 2025 in Düsseldorf (Hall 15, Booth D22).
Under the theme “Today. Tomorrow. Electric.”, the company will demonstrate eight all-electric machines from its IntElect platform, including two new PAC-E models developed in collaboration with SHI’s electric-drive specialists in Japan. The exhibits reflect the SHI Group’s shared commitment to sustainable, high-precision and energy-efficient manufacturing solutions.
Sumitomo (SHI) Demag will also feature technologies developed in collaboration with other SHI Group companies, including Leifeld Metal Spinning. These partnerships highlight how SHI’s European and Asian businesses share expertise to drive innovation and deliver customer-focused solutions.
A highlight of the display will be the debut of the IntElect 350 multi-component machine, combined with a SAM-C20 robot. The combination showcases Demag’s expertise in delivering complete turnkey automation systems with compact, efficient designs.
Robotics and digital integration will play a key role, with all machines connected through Demag’s myAssist digital platform to provide real-time transparency and data connectivity.
