We have a diverse range of subsidiary businesses and customers across various industries in Europe. One such customer is Yakult, the Japanese multinational with its European headquarters near ours (Yakult Europe B.V.) in the Netherlands.
We recently had the privilege of visiting their manufacturing facility in Almere, where several of our products are integral to producing their renowned probiotic drinks. These include the injection moulding machines from our Plastics Machinery Division, essential for creating the iconic Yakult bottles.
Our injection moulding machines are advanced manufacturing tools that enable the high-precision production of plastic components. By injecting molten plastic into moulds under high pressure, they create the desired shapes, such as the iconic Yakult bottles.

The visit was part of our recent meeting with internal auditing colleagues from across the world who came to our HQ in Amstelveen for discussions and a presentation from SHI (Europe) on operations in Europe.
